This must be the DC outdoor festival weekend. If you don't have plans, here are some ideas:
Saint Sophia's Greek festival begins today and runs through the weekend. Be sure to have some loukomades, fresh fried doughnut holes covered in honey syrup.
The Washingtion National Cathedral, across Garfield Street from Saint Sophia's is celebrating its 100 year anniversary with a festival on Saturday.
The Washington City Paper has its Crafty Bastards! arts and crafts fair in Adams Morgan on Sunday.
There's always the Dance DC festival all weekend.
If you enjoy a good Oktoberfest, and who doesn't, Barracks Row has one going on this Saturday.
On Saturday you can also enjoy a free walking tour or two of various neighborhoods.
